Fabulous Ilorin Ladies Care Foundation Celebrates a Milestone Event

On June 17, 2024, the Fabulous Ilorin Ladies Care Foundation held a remarkable event that brought together esteemed personalities from across Kwara State. The gathering was graced by a representative of the Kwara State Government and a delegate for the First Lady of Kwara, alongside  Directors General National Orientation agency, Mallam Issa Onilu, Hon. Chief Mrs Folakemi O., Commissioner for Social Development, Chairman KWASIP, Alhaji Tejidini and other dignitaries.

The highlight of the event was an insightful talk on parenting by Dr. Lawal Olohungbe, the Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to the Governor of Kwara State. Dr. Olounbebe delved into various parenting styles and underscored the importance of comprehensive background checks before betrothal commitments.

Amidst the enlightening discussions, the ceremony also witnessed an emotional moment as awardees received their honors with overwhelming joy. The spirit of generosity was palpable as donations were made, and pledges of future support for the foundation's initiatives were announced.

 Today 26th (Ramadan) March, 2025, fabulous ilorin ladies care foundation distribute clothes and Cash to the less privileged within ilorin metropolis as Sallah gifts. The group is an NGO which was established over ten years ago by ilorin ladies basically indigene and wives to cater for the welfare and developmental progress of women and children. The president of the association Hajiya Asmau Yusuf said, This is coming as second phase of our palliative within the Ramadan.  We distributed foodstuffs as palliative at the beginning of Ramadan and here come another.  She said, they really wished they could do more but that their NGO is a self funded. they are calling on well meaning individual, corporate bodies and government for partnership to enable them do more. This gesture aligns with the foundation's mission to enhance the well-being of society's less privileged especially women and children and coincides with the celebration of International Women's Day 2025.
